If you are the registered owner of a vehicle, you can get a list of previous owners by writing to ‘Fee Paying Section, DVLA, Swansea,SA99 1AL enclosing £5 made out to DVLA Swansea. If they cannot find the owners prior to 1974, records from 1928-74 may be held at the original licensing authority as identified by the DVLA.
